Sample Policy

At Drink In Life, I accept samples of wine as well as wine and food-related products for editorial consideration on this blog as well as my social media platforms. I accept samples from wineries, distributors, importers, PR and marketing representatives, and companies selling related products. Many times I also personally purchase wine for editorial consideration. I will disclose in any subsequent blog posts that free samples were received.

This policy adheres to the overall intention and message of Drink In Life: I do not consider myself a critic and this blog is not about reviews. Rather, I like to share with people my favorite wines, foods, products and travel experiences. To keep my opinions honest, If I don’t care for a wine or product, I do not write at it. This is not to say that the product isn’t good, it simply means that my palate prefers other wines or I felt the product was not something that I would use.

Please note that all samples should include a website link and social media handles or hashtags used in conjunction with them, as well as information such as country of origin, appellation, vintage and suggested retail price (MSRP).

If this sample policy works for you, please contact Elaine at drinkinnature@gmail.com for a delivery address.

I also accept invitations for Press Trips and to photograph & feature wineries, distilleries, wine tastings, events, restaurants, hotels and destinations. I personally handle all request, please email your inquiries with a full description of the press/media location or trip information to drinkinnature@gmail.com .
I do appreciate at least four weeks notice, but understand when plans come together with shorter notice. Please feel free to contact me to check my availability and requirements.

Cheers,
Elaine Luxton
